Discusses family news, politics, farm business, acquaintances and in a few letters a family member who joined the Mormon Church. Letters from B.F to Travis discuss family and life in Texas. A few letters between the brothers. An arithmetic book hand written by Robert for use in teaching. Several papers related to the selection of teachers and school schedules with lists of students and their attendance marked. A 1790 note relieving Thomas from duty to his regiment due to illness. 1836 will of Thomas. 1808 will of Robert Moore, father of Thomas. Land grant in Illinois from federal government to Thomas for service in the Revolutionary War. Bill of sale for a Negro slave. Several prescriptions handwritten for the family. Licenses for Travis' businesses.
